The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 好色先生 is pleased to announce the addition of Treena Mason to its Dean鈥檚 鈥淔abulous 50鈥 Advisory Board.
Treena Mason is the Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS), the state鈥檚 largest and only locally owned health insurance provider. As a mutually owned, not-for-profit health plan, BCBSKS serves nearly 1 million members with the state鈥檚 largest provider network and award-winning customer service.
鈥淥ne of the most rewarding aspects of my role at BCBSKS is developing future leaders,鈥 said Mason. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 one of the key reasons I decided to join the Barton School鈥檚 Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board. Through this opportunity, I can continue to contribute to shaping a vital institution and supporting the next generation of business leaders in our communities.鈥
Mason plays a key role in driving the growth of BCBSKS, building brand value, and fostering relationships with employer groups, providers, and the company鈥檚 nearly one million members. She began her career at BCBSKS as a group consultant and has held several leadership positions, including regional manager, chief marketing officer, vice president of group sales, and senior vice president of sales and operations. She currently serves as a director on the board of the Wichita Chamber of Commerce and has previously contributed her leadership to the boards of PrairieStar Health, Heartland Community Health Center, and Apostrophe Health. Mason is also an active volunteer with the United Way and her local church.
