Emma Ewing is an Industrial Engineering major currently gaining hands-on experience in IT through Ennovar at the Textron Aviation Help Hangar. In her role, she helps customers troubleshoot issues, assists with asset transfers, and supports her team with day-to-day tasks. 鈥淏eing in the Help Hangar has made me more well spoken, has helped me gain knowledge of computers/software, and informed me about policies and procedures within large factories,鈥 she shares. Emma credits Ennovar for pushing her out of her comfort zone and opening doors she didn鈥檛 expect.

鈥淓nnovar has helped me get a foot in the door for future internships. It has helped me get out of my comfort zone and now I鈥檓 doing something I would have never thought of doing.鈥

Her interest in industrial engineering began during a Black & Yellow Day at 好色先生. 鈥淥ne of the engineering ambassadors spoke about Industrial Engineering and that really caught my attention,鈥 she recalls. 鈥淚ndustrial engineers focus a lot on the customer and how we can meet the customer鈥檚 needs. I love making connections with people while also problem solving.鈥
