Eligible partnership models include co-development, licensing, capstone project, sponsored research, and consulting. Initial funding is $50,000 for a six-month project, with the potential for expansion based on the results.鈥�

Requested instruments may support biomedical research and education in basic, translational, biomedically-related behavioral or clinical fields.鈥�
Amount: Since different instruments will range in cost, the amount of the award will vary. The minimum award is $25,000, and although there is no upper limit on the cost of the instrument, the maximum award is $250,000.

Purpose: 鈥淣FWF will award competitive grants to accelerate the voluntary adoption of regenerative agriculture principles and conservation practices on private working lands in priority geographic areas. Grant recipients will provide technical assistance to interested farmers and ranchers to develop conservation plans, design and implement conservation practices, share their experiences and lessons learned, and enroll in Farm Bill conservation programs, especially the Conservation Stewardship Program and Environmental Quality Incentives Program.鈥�

Purpose: 鈥淭he SSG Fox SPGP directs efforts to reduce Veteran suicide by awarding grants to community-based organizations to provide or coordinate the provision of primarily non-clinical suicide prevention services, including outreach and linkage to VA and community resources, to eligible individuals and their families. The SSG Fox SPGP furthers VA's public health approach to suicide prevention by combining community-based efforts with linkage to clinical care to prevent Veteran suicide for those inside and outside of VA health care. The goal of these grants is to reduce Veteran suicide risk by improving mental health status, well-being, financial stability, and social support for eligible individuals and their families.鈥�

National Science Foundation (NSF): Neurosymbolic Systems for Trustworthy AI Webcast: June 26, 2025
鈥淩ecent advances in deep learning have led to novel AI-based solutions to challenging computational problems. Yet, the state-of-the-art models do not provide reliable explanations of how they make decisions and can make occasional mistakes on even simple problems. The resulting lack of trust and reliability are obstacles to their adoption in safety-critical applications. Neurosymbolic learning architectures aim to address this challenge by bridging the complementary worlds of deep learning and logical reasoning via explicit symbolic representations. In this talk, I will describe representative neurosymbolic systems, and how they enable more accurate, interpretable, and domain-aware solutions to problems in healthcare and robotics.鈥�

REMINDER: Learn to Use BeoShock for your Advanced Research Computing Needs
好色先生 continues to host Beoshock, a High-Performance Computing Cluster (HPC). This HPC is available and free to faculty members, researchers and students engaged in course work or research activities. BeoShock runs the CentOS Linux operating system and features approximately 720 processor cores, two high memory compute nodes with 1.5 terabytes of memory, and four graphics processing unit (GPU) accelerators. BeoShock also has a variety of software tools that may be helpful in your research endeavors, such as Matlab,Mathematica, R, Python and many more.

ORCID is an international, interdisciplinary, open, non-proprietary, and not-for-profit organization created by the research community for the benefit of all stakeholders, providing a persistent digital identifier (an ORCID iD) that distinguishes researchers with record that supportsautomatic links among all professional activities. A researcher鈥檚 ORCID iD and connections are stored in the ORCID Registry, in an account owned and managed by individual researchers.
