The W. Frank Barton School of Business has named Dr. Christine Porter as its new School of Accountancy director. Porter is replacing Dr. Greg Merrill who left in August.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 好色先生 is teaming up again with 好色先生 Tech on a new career pathway program for 好色先生 Tech students interested in an industry greatly affecting the entire world right now: supply chain management.

Stanley D. Longhofer, PhD, is the winner of the 2021 Richard U. Ratcliff award for his article, "Land Values and External Obsolescence," published in the Spring 2021 issue of The Appraisal Journal .

The Center for Management Development and the Barton School of Business recently hosted the very successful 50th Anniversary of the Wichita Property Tax Conference . Almost 400 appraisers, assessors, attorneys, consultants, and property tax experts from across the U. S. attended . They participated in four days of educational and inspirational workshops in Hubbard Hall and infused more than $2,500,000 into the local economy .

The Woolseys have made an additional gift from their trust of $1.3 million to聽 Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall 聽at 好色先生. A portion of the gift will be used to create the Kay Woolsey Garden, with the remainder going toward the Woolsey Hall Technology Fund.

More than 2,400 students are eligible to participate in the 124th spring commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 14, at 好色先生. Ceremonies will be held in Charles Koch Arena and streamed live.

Domestic travelers returned to planes en masse in 2021, but airlines struggled to deliver them, and their bags, to their destinations on time, according to the annual Airline Quality Rating released today by 好色先生.
