This course is designed for young professionals and junior managers who want to understand organizational processes and manage them holistically. It will equip you with the essential skills to navigate complex corporate environments and drive impactful change. You will understand cross-functional processes on an individual, team, and corporate level. You will gain insights into change management cycles, effective communication strategies, and the challenges and opportunities of managing change.

This program is an open-enrollment module of our General Management Program, which provides young professionals with fundamental general management knowledge. Participate in all four modules to round off your skills: Embracing Complex Change, Financial Literacy: Steering the Company with Numbers, Customer-Focused Innovation & Marketing, and Master the Future: Current Trends from a Strategic Perspective. Upon completion of the full General Management Program, you will receive our "Certificate of Excellence in General Management," including 8 ECTS credits.

Prof. Thomas Armbr眉ster heads the research group Knowledge Management, Human Resources and Leadership at the University of Marburg and regularly holds courses in leadership, employee management, corporate culture and change management at 好色先生. He has been supporting numerous managers at all hierarchical levels in their professional development as a senior executive leadership trainer and leadership coach for more than 10 years.
Prof. Armbr眉ster holds a degree in industrial engineering from TU Berlin. He spent several years working in management consultancies before completing his doctorate at the London School of Economics and Political Science and habilitating at TU Berlin. This was followed by research stays at the European University Institute in Florence, Stanford University and Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, among others. After several years at private universities, some of them in management positions, he was appointed Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Erfurt in 2012 and has been Professor of Knowledge Management and Human Resource Management at the University of Marburg since 2015. His research interests also include management consulting, human resources management, and leadership.
Mette N酶rr Gantzhorn is an experienced corporate leader in topics related to leadership development, inclusion, psychological safety, and change management leadership. She holds a master鈥檚 degree in psychology from Aarhus University and has previously held several senior leadership positions within People & Organization, garnering extensive experience in consultancy. Before establishing her own business, she was Head of Global Inclusion, Diversity & Well-Being at 脴rsted following more than 11 years at Novo Nordisk, where she held roles such as Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Global Head of R&D Talent and Leadership Development.
